Moorcroft Cattery: Terms and Charges
Opening Hours

The cattery is open for admission and discharge of animals between 9.00 am and 10.00 am and 5.00 pm and 6:00 pm from Monday to Saturday. No animals will be admitted or discharged on Sundays, other than by special arrangement.

Up to date vaccination certificates must be shown to us before cats can be admitted.

We hope you will enjoy visiting the Cattery. Please make arrangements to call and inspect the premises to help you decide if they are right for your pet. An appointment to do this would be appreciated if you wish to come outside the above opening hours.

Scale of charges as from 1st January 2008

  • Single cats £5.00 per day. Two cats £9 per day. Three cats £12.00 per day.
  • Cats staying for more than 28 days will be charged at a reduced weekly rate.
  • Fees for cats are charged on the day of arrival and each subsequent day. Cats discharged in the morning between 9 am and 10 am are not charged for that day. Cats discharged in the evening are charged for the day of discharge.

We hope your animals will enjoy their stay at Moorcroft and that you will enjoy your holiday better knowing that your friend is being well cared for until you return to take him or her home.

Long-stays

Where animals are boarded for long periods, every effort will be made to keep owners aware of the animal's health and well-being.

Any animal left in the cattery for more than four weeks after the date arranged for discharge without notification of reasons for delay would be considered homeless and arrangements for rehoming the animal will be made in the animal's best interest.
