Feeding arrangementsIndividual diets are provided as requested. Normally, tinned food is fed in the morning and fresh/tinned food at teatime. Milk and/or Munchies are fed last thing when the cats are put to bed for the night. Young cats up to 6 months are fed three times daily, as are old cats needing frequent small meals. A wide variety of food is available and all attempts are made to cater for fussy eaters.
Veterinary servicesUp to date vaccination certificates must be shown to us before cats can be admitted. Veterinary supervision is provided by Skeldale Veterinary Centre, Thirsk. If veterinary attention is required whilst your cat is staying at Moorcroft, it will usually be provided by vets from this practice in consultation with your own vet as thought to be necessary. Veterinary fees will normally be charged to your account for accommodation unless other prior arrangements are made. As the health of all resident animals must be safeguarded, we reserve the right to call the vet to a particular animal at our discretion at the owner's expense. (such occasions are rare!). Routine medication is provided by the staff. StaffingThe care of cats staying at Moorcroft is by the proprietors themselves plus staff who are carefully selected on their experience in looking after animals and their desire to work with cats. At Moorcroft the aim is to look after each animal as we would care for our own, and cats staying with us become part of the family. © Moorcroft Cattery, Moor Lane, Bagby, Thirsk, North Yorkshire YO7 2PN. tel: 01845 597544 |
